Jamshid Amouzegar was an Iranian politician who was the prime minister of Iran from 7 August 1977 until his resignation on 27 August 1978. He was the second and fourth Secretary-General of the Rastakhiz Party from 1976 to 1977 and in 1978. Prior to that, he served as the minister of interior and minister of finance in the cabinet of Amir-Abbas Hoveyda.
