Rafael Antonio Caldera Rodríguez fue un jurista, académico y político venezolano que fue presidente de Venezuela desde 1969 hasta 1974 y nuevamente desde 1994 hasta 1999, siendo el civil que por más tiempo ha gobernado a Venezuela, así como diputado, procurador y senador vitalicio en dos ocasiones.
