María Esther Biscayart de Tello fue una activa defensora de los Derechos Humanos, militante e integrante de la Madres de Plaza de Mayo Línea Fundadora. Sus tres hijos fueron detenidos desaparecidos por la última dictadura cívico militar de Argentina.
