Lothar Bisky war ein deutscher Kulturwissenschaftler und Politiker. Er war Mitglied des Landtages Brandenburg (1990–2005), des Deutschen Bundestages (2005–2009) und des Europäischen Parlaments (2009–2013). Bisky war Professor für Film- und Fernsehwissenschaft sowie von 1986 bis 1990 Rektor der Hochschule für Film und Fernsehen Potsdam-Babelsberg.
