Johanna Budwig war eine deutsche Apothekerin, Autorin und Biochemikerin, die durch ihre Öl-Eiweiß-Kost bekannt wurde. Sie vertrat die Annahme, dass Krebs durch diese Kost heilbar sei. Die sogenannte Budwig-Diät basiert einerseits auf der Empfehlung, bestimmte Nahrungsmittel zu essen, andererseits auf dem Verbot bestimmter Nahrungsmittel. Sie war ursprünglich als Diät für Hepatitispatienten gedacht.
