Javier Alberto Barreda Jara fue un sociólogo y político peruano, militante y dirigente nacional del Partido Aprista Peruano. Durante el gobierno de Pedro Pablo Kuczynski se desempeñó como ministro de Trabajo y Promoción del Empleo del Perú, desde el 9 de enero del 2018 hasta la renuncia de PPK el 2 de abril de ese mismo año.
