George Edward Arcaro, known as Eddie Arcaro, was an American jockey in Thoroughbred racing. He won 4,779 races, including a record 17 U.S. Triple Crown races, and remains the only jockey to have ridden two U.S. Triple Crown winners: Whirlaway in 1941 and Citation in 1948.
